About SnapHour

SnapHour is an online software (it runs in your browser) for small and medium businesses offering time based services to its customers (hairdressers, law firms, massage therapists, dentists, medical clinics, sport , etc).

SnapHour allows your customers to make an appointment through your existing website using our "Book now" buttons.

SnapHour also provides simple, yet powerful time and calendar management tools for yourself and your employees.

Your service page

SnapHour allows existing and new customers to use your existing website to schedule an appointment online.

By clicking SnapHour's "Book now" button on your website, the customer navigates to a special web page listing all your available services. For each service you're offering a short description, price and duration are displayed.

This service page is part of the SnapHour system and is accessible at yourname.snaphour.com. This page has been optimized for popular search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc) and will make it easier for potential customers to locate your business and your services on the Internet.

Your public calendar

After having a look at your available services, the customer can navigate to the calendar where he or she is presented with a clear overview of when the particular service is available.

The visitor can only see what times are available and what times are not: visitors can never see other appointments on your calendar.

If you employ one or more staff who are allowed to perform a certain service, the visitor can give a preference for a specific member of your staff.

After an appointment has been scheduled by a customer, you can either confirm, cancel or alter the appointment.

Email/SMS notifications and automatic reminders

When a customer schedules an appointment through your website, SnapHour will notify you instantly by email and by SMS (text message). This way you're always aware of newly scheduled appointments, even when you're not at your computer.

Both account managers and employees scheduled to perform a services will receive a notification by email and SMS.

SnapHour also sends reminders by email one day before a appointment is scheduled to remind your customers and minimize no-shows.

Maintain one or more calendars for your business

SnapHour allows you to create and maintain one or more calendars. If you are the only employee in your organization, one calendar will suffice. If you employ one or more staff, SnapHour allows you to create a calendar for each staff member.

As account manager of your SnapHour account, you have access to all calendars within your organization. Other staff members are only allowed access to their own calendars (unless you make certain employees account managers as well, in this case they will also have access to all calendars within your organization).

SnapHour's simple interface

SnapHour uses different colors for different services provided by your business. This will enable your calendars to remain clear and nicely arranged, even when loaded with appointments.

Your appointments can be displayed in either a daily view or a monthly view. Switching between the two views is as easy as clicking a button.

SnapHour allows you to easily enter weekly holidays and other "not available" times.

Customer database

Each and every customer who ever scheduled an appointment with you, will remain in your SnapHour customer database.

All customer records are ordered alphabetically and each record contains a name, a telephone number, an email address and the number of appointments.

For each customer you can retrieve his or hers entire appointment history with a single mouse click.
